Xiaomi has officially unveiled Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro in an special event in China . Both the phones sport a Quad camera setup . Fans were eagerly waiting for the Note 8 Pro and they were not disappointed.
Redmi Note 8
Redmi Note 8 features an 6.39 Full HD Display with a 90 percent screen to body ratio . It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 Soc which is a significant update over the Note 7 and comes with Gorilla Glass 5 Protection . 
On the optics department , it features a quad camera setup with the primary camera being 48 megapixels supported by an 8 megapixel wide angle camera and two 2 megapixel cameras . It comes with a massive 4500 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Pricing starts at approximately Rs 10000 for the 4 GB + 64 GB variant and Rs 12000 for the 6 GB + 64 GB variant .
Xiaomi Note 8 Pro :
The Note 8 Pro is the first Xiaomi device to come with a Media Tek Processor . It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G90T processor which is a high end chipset . It comes with 6.59 inch Full HD Plus Display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels . It is the first phone to feature a 64 Megapixel camera phone .
On the camera front , The device is engulfed by Quad camera setup with the primary camera being 64 megapixel shooter with 8 megapixel wide angle camera and two 2 megapixel cameras. It comes with a 4500 mAh battery, supports 18 W Fast Charging and has a 3.5 mm Audio Jack .
It comes with Game Turbo 2.0 which would help gaming become more efficient with its cooling technology. Pricing starts at Rs 13,999 for the 128 GB variant and we would say that is highly competitive . The launch in India is awaited . Xiaomi’s VP announced on twitter that they would be launching the Note 8’s in 8 weeks .
