JP Morgan’s Analysts have predicted that Apple is likely to launch four new models in 2020 . They also believe that all the models will have 5G capabilities and will feature OLED displays . Apple usually launches three IPhones in an year with two in September and one coming up later in the year .
JP Morgan also predicted that Apple will likely sell 195 million devices of the new models in 2020 as compared to 180 million devices in 2019 . Apple’s IPhone sales have not been performing as well as the company would have liked . IPhone XR has not been the standout performer for Apple as it was touted to be by the Company . Apple is also likely to ditch Face ID in 2021 if reports are to be believed .
The Company has been looking to up its game specially in China as competition is heating up . The Premium Device segment has been long dominated by Apple but Companies such as One Plus and Xiaomi have been eating into this segment thick and fast specially in huge markets such as China and India . It would be interesting to see if the Company lives up to the hype that has been created by the fans .
