The Company revealed it on the Chinese website, Weibo . Realme had launched its first product, Realme 1 in India in May,2018 . Since then it has continuously focussed on getting young customers on board .

Realme has given a tough time to Xiaomi in India since its launch and managed to get 8 percent share of the Indian smartphone market in just an year . Realme adopted the flash sale model to engage users and create hype and generated wide consumer interest for its budget smartphone . The Company now operates as an independent unit and makes its own decisions .
