Xiaomi just launched its latest budget smartphone, Redmi 8 in the Indian market. Redmi 8 has arrived in India first even before China. The device comes in storage variants: 3 GB Ram + 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB Ram + 64 GB internal storage. The device also comes with Xiaomi’s newest Aura glow design and Dot Notch Display.
Redmi 8 Specifications :
Redmi 8 comes with a 6.22 Inch Dot Notch HD+ Display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and 270 PPI. The Display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is scratch and splash resistant. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 439. Redmi 8 also comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery which could last up to 2 days.
On the optics front, the device comes with Dual Rear camera with 12 Megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor and 2 Megapixel depth sensor. The Front Camera is an 8 Megapixel shooter capable of handling decent shots. The device comes with a Fingerprint sensor and Face unlock.

The device supports 18W Fast Charging with a Type C port. It would come in three colors: Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red, and Onyx Black. The price starts in at Rs 7,999 for the 32 GB variant and Rs 8,999 for the 64 GB variant. Xiaomi announced special offers for the 64 GB variant as the company celebrated selling 100 million smartphones. The 64 GB variant would be available for a Rs 1000 discount at Rs 7,999. The sale starts on 12th October Midnight on Mi.com and Flipkart. There would be a 10 percent discount for SBI Credit Cardholders which would bring down the price to Rs 7,200 for the 64 GB variant.
