Xiaomi Global VP teases upcoming Redmi smartphone , would have 64 megapixel primary camera and four cameras .

Xiaomi’s Global Vice President, Manu Kumar Jain released some of the details of the upcoming Redmi smartphone . The phone would sport a 64 megapixel primary camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 64 mp sensor capable of taking mind blowing pictures with great detail . Samsung announced the GW1 last month and currently no smartphone has that sensor . The sensor has industry’s highest resolution lenses as claimed by Samsung . It uses Samsung’s Tetracell Technology that captures greater detail and uses four 16 megapixel lenses that are merged into one to increase light .

The device would also likely feature Snapdragon 855+ Soc processor which is currently the fastest Qualcomm chip that is available . The device could likely be Redmi Note 8 Pro according to some rumours .

Xiaomi and Realme have been at loggerheads ever since Realme came into existence to maintain their brand and get more users onboard . Many Brands have relooked their online presence ever since Xiaomi gained success . Realme CEO, Madhav Seth has also announced that they are working on their first flagship and it would also feature 64 megapixel camera . It would be interesting to see at what price does Xiaomi introduce the phone especially after some users complained about high price of K20 and K20 Pro .
