Xiaomi Launched Redmi 7 a in India on 4 th july . The 7 a is priced at Rs 5999 for the 16 gb variant and Rs 6200 for the 32 gb variant but will be available at a discounted price of Rs 5799(16 gb variant) and Rs 5999( 32 gb variant) for the month of july in terms of an special promotion offered by the company for its fans . The A series has been extremely successful in India with the company selling more than 22 million devices for the three models it has launched ( Redmi 4a, Redmi 5a, Redmi 6a) . Xiaomi has become the number one player in terms of market share overcoming several giants such as Samsung, Apple, Oppo and several others through its effective marketing strategies and budget friendly phones .
The new Redmi 7a comes with a 4000 mah battery which can last upto 17 days . It also comes with dual sim card slot . Xiaomi has introduced 12 Megapixel Rear camera with Sony IMX486 sensor with this model . It can take better and sharper images than its predecessors . The device also sports a 5,45 inch HD+ Plus full screen display . The Redmi 7a also supports AI face unlock and can be unlocked with face recognition .
The device is launched in three colours namely matte black , matte blue and matte gold . The Redmi 7a will be available exclusively on Flipkart , Mi.com and Mi stores . The Redmi 7a will be sold via flash sales and the first flash sale will take place on 11 th July , 12 pm .
The phone will also come with a two year warranty and this is the first time Xiaomi has offered any of their budget devices with more than a year’s warranty .
