Realme’s CEO Mahav Seth revealed in a tweet that the company would launch an quad camera smartphone with 64 megapixel primary camera sensor and they will be doing that in India . The event is being dubbed as the Realme Camera Innovation Event by the company and will take place on 8th August . The phone would likely be launched primarily in India and rest of the countries subsequently .
The phone will likely feature Samsung’s 64 megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 which features the highest resolution on any smartphone camera . It features four pixels which are merged to work as one to increase light to take quality photos . This technology is called the Tetracell technology by the company . It also comes with High dynamic range of up to 100 decibels that provides further depth to the photos .
Realme has recently launched Realme X , a premium smartphone that competes with Redmi K20 . We know that Xiaomi is also going to launch a 64 megapixel camera smartphone that was recently revealed in a tweet by Manu Kumar Jain . Realme has been playing the smartphone industry pretty well . It knows that its primary competitor is Xiaomi and it matches its footsteps at every front . It has captured 8 percent market share in India in just a couple of years .
Further Details are not available for the upcoming 64 megapixel phone but we would not be knowing them soon . The phone would likely come with telephoto lens and a depth sensor . The phone should also be in the upper end of Rs 30,000 .
